My Schedule for the week:
I will be at Master Literacy Training Mon-Wed, @ Poplar Springs on Thursday, and @Walnut Cove on Friday. PSES- we will finalize year-end activities at PLCs on Thursday and add anything you have for the units. Bring anything you have for both! Melissa will be giving you the Student Information Cards on Monday. You will give those back to her completed at SST on the 18th. Then we will discuss class rosters during our last PLCs of the year, which will be on Monday, May 22 (since EOGs start on the 25th). Progress Reports Reminder: *They go home on Monday! K-2 Math Assessment: *One issue with the Kindergarten Math Assessment has been discovered. The subtraction page..Pg. 14... may be missing from your student booklets. The subtraction page is in the Task Directions & Student Performance Rubrics packet, so you may have to make copies of that page. mClass Reminders: *Everyone, be sure to sync frequently. If you are having any troubles, let me know. *Please Log Out daily! Go back to the black bar at the top of the page and click on it to take you back until you get to the screen where you have the logout option and click on logout. Please remember closing your Chromebook or iPad or minimizing the icon does not log you out. *If you are having trouble with the touch screen on your Chromebook, please let me know so we can fix it for you. It is a simple fix. 1st & 2nd Grade Summer Reading Camp Spreadsheet Reminders: *You put every child in your class in the gray column header parts and fill in the columns for each student that is in gray. Student last name, first, name, powerschool number, school, teacher, grade level and EOY TRC. *The other columns you fill out as you go. Beginning with "Sent Parent Letter." If they are eligible for SRC. If they are not, then that child is complete. *Attending Camp is the one you only put yes when you have the student registration form back with confirmation in writing that they are attending. Then you fill in the rest of the information if it is a yes. If it is a no. Then just put no in the column and you are done. *If they are on grade level for TRC, you are done and you stop in the gray columns. *Please update the spreadsheet daily and send home letters to eligible students daily. *Remember, if you do not receive the letter back in a few days to follow up with the parents. *This is very important for the planning of SRC hiring, buses, lunches, etc. Let me know if you have any questions! I will check emails during breaks Mon-Wed.
